A qualified teacher and Co-Director of SSSAFE, Jackie is one of the country’s leading authorities on native and exotic spiders; having maintained Australia’s largest collection at the Australian Reptile park. She has worked closely with leading venom authority, CSL, through her work as head of the Funnel Web Spider Venom Program, and as Park Education Coordinator she developed a range of innovative learning programs for all ages.
Jackie has been involved in numerous remote field trips to study and film Australian wildlife. Her vitality, communication, organisation and training skills are a driving force and essential part of the SSSAFE experience.
